Welcome to another exciting half-term at Brighstone Preschool! We’re thrilled to share that Ofsted has rated us ‘Good’ in every area—a huge thank you to our wonderful children, families, and staff for their support! The UK government is expanding childcare support to assist working families with young children. In September 2025, the UK government will fully expand its childcare support, offering eligible working parents 30 hours additional support per week for children under 5.

We look forward to a busy term ahead, we welcome Izzy to our Preschool Staff team as she joins us for her level 2 Apprenticeship with HTP. We also welcome new parents and children to the setting.

Looking at different people’s cultures and festivals is a great way to teach children about the world around them. We encourage children to show respect for other people’s beliefs. We will be looking at the Hindu Festival of Light Diwali, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas.
