This summer, we’ve been busy creating a new outdoor area especially for our 2’s and under children, providing a safe and inviting space where our youngest children can explore, move, play and learn throughout the year.

Sleep is an important part of the day for our youngest children. At Brighstone Preschool, we provide a safe, calm and reassuring sleep environment, respecting each child’s individual needs and routines while following the latest safer-sleep requirements.

A new term means new faces, new friendships and plenty to look forward to at Brighstone Preschool! We’re welcoming families and team members, settling back into familiar routines and getting ready for another busy autumn filled with learning, laughter and little adventures.

Our 3–4-year-olds enjoyed the excitement of harvesting the potatoes they had grown themselves. From watering and caring for the plants to digging up the crop, every step encouraged curiosity, teamwork, early science and conversations about where our food comes from.

Welcome to a fun-filled Summer Term at Brighstone Preschool! From outdoor adventures and creative activities to important updates and key dates, there’s lots to look forward to as children learn, explore and make the most of the sunny months ahead.

Your child’s safety is always our top priority. All Brighstone Preschool staff have successfully renewed their Paediatric First Aid qualifications, ensuring we remain fully compliant with the latest EYFS health and nutrition standards coming into effect in September 2025.

Autumn term 1: Thursday 4 th September – Friday 17 th October 2025 Opening Hours are 7.30 am - 5.30 pm. We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and enjoyed the sunshine. The summer holiday club has been successful with many children attending from Brighstone and Niton. We welcome lots of new families to our setting here at Brighstone Preschool and we wish our school leavers a good first term at Primary school.
