Looking at different people’s cultures and festivals is a great way to teach children about the world around them. We encourage children to show respect for other people’s beliefs. We will be looking at the Hindu Festival of Light Diwali, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas.

Our Goals

  1. To encourage children to be happy.
  2. To encourage children to stay healthy, and be confident and inquisitive.
  3. To be interested in life and enthusiastic about the challenges they encounter in their  play through the use of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (2022).
  4. To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
  5. To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children  and  families and enable them to make a positive contribution to the community and  pre-school environment.
  6. To ensure individual care and attention, made possible by the statutory ratio of adults  to children.
  7. To provide opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your own child’s progress.
  8. To provide a 'Key Person' for each child.
